FCC approved. Operates at 20 foot RF signal range and is non-directional. Transmitter works 1.5V AAA battery; The receiver operates on 4 batteries (AA). Specially recommend Energizer Lithium Battery. CAUTION: Any corrosion due to battery leakage will be deemed to be due to improper use by the user.
