Alerts & Custom Voice Instructions

The R2-4K offers a variety of voice alerts.

One example and also the most important is to let you know when parking mode is activated while you are away.

If someone hits your car while the car is parked and if the impact force reaches the set G-sensor level, the camera will turn ON and record 1 Minute Video, Lock and Save to Emergency Locked Folder.

Then, when you turn around and start the car the next time, the dashcam will warn you with a voice warning "parking has been activated in white, you're gone" - so you can go back and check what happened.

Proprietary distortion correction algorithm

You can turn the distortion correction ON/OFF in the video settings of the R2-4K.

Dashcam's lens has a slight fisheye effect in the periphery areas of the image due to its Ultra Wide Angle Lens.

Many customers asked if there was a way to eliminate distortion along the edges, and that's when we designed a proprietary distortion correction feature for the R2-4K.

By turning it ON, your images will look less distorted and more realistic.

WDR - Wide Dynamic Range

When we are driving on the road, we cannot choose whether the sun is directly in the field of view or in the opposite direction.

When the sun hits the camera directly, the image will be overexposed (the image is brighter) and when in the opposite direction, the image will be underexposed (the image is darker). So how to fix and create a powerful photo so that it does not lose detail regardless of different exposures?

That's where the R2-4K's WDR feature comes into play. By turning the WDR feature ON, you get a better, clearer picture regardless of lighting conditions.

Screensaver - A Unique Feature

The R2-4K has built-in GPS allowing its unique capabilities to come to life.

Built-in GPS allows for a clean installation with no additional cables on your windshield.

The screen saver feature allows your camera to automatically switch to the screensaver after 1 minute, while the camera continuously records video in the background, it will show you the important details for you when driving.

Custom Designed ROVE - DOUBLE PARKING MODE FEATURES

Unlike any other dash cam, the ROVE R2-4K has two separate parking mode features.

Parking mode with internal battery (NO extra accessories needed)

24-hour auto-activated parking mode (Requires ROVE Ultimate HWK)

Internal battery parking mode

This parking mode works from the camera's internal battery. NO extra accessories needed. The camera's internal battery is designed to last for about 5-7 minutes when fully charged.

How it works? - When your car is parked and the camera is OFF, and if someone crashes into your car and if the impact reaches the set G-Sensor level, the camera will turn ON and record 1 minute video, then will lock and save that video in emergency locked folder so it won't be deleted by loop function.

Then, when you turn around and start the car the next time, the camera will give you a voice alert telling you that "parking mode was activated while you were away". If you hear this voice warning, then you should check the last locked video to see what happened or who hit your car?

Parking mode activated automatically for 4 hours

This parking mode has two options to choose from.

- Requires uninterruptible power and ROVE Ultimate Hard Wire Kit

Time-Lapse & G-Sensor: This parking mode allows you to record all night in time lapse mode when you are away from home. Additionally, if someone crashes into your car while time lapse parking is being recorded and if the impact reaches the set G-Sensor level, the camera will record 1-minute continuous video all details. It will then also warn you with a voice alert the next time you start the car.

Motion Detection & G-Sensor: This parking mode allows you to record only when motion is detected in front of the camera while you are away. In addition, if someone crashes into your car while in motion detection mode and if the impact reaches the G-Sensor level set, the camera will record 1-minute continuous video capturing every detail. It will then also warn you with a voice alert the next time you start the car.

ROVE Ultimate 3-headed hardwire set - OPTIONAL

This is an optional accessory. It is custom designed for the Parking Mode feature that is automatically activated for 24 hours to continuously power your dashcam from the car battery while your car is OFF. This will also keep the hidden installation clean, so no wires or cables go into the cigarette socket.

This set of hardwires is designed to connect the dashcam directly to the car's fuse box.

It comes with all the necessary installation parts and clear, easy-to-understand DIY installation instructions in a beautifully written user manual.
